Fundraising for the hampshire air ambulance charity

Charity event hosted by SieMatic kitchen dealer The Myers Touch raises over £1,500 for Hampshire Air Ambulance.

Bespoke contemporary kitchen design company The Myers Touch in Winchester rubbed shoulders with celebrity wine experts from Saturday Kitchen, Susie Barrie and Peter Richards of Winchester Wine School, at a recent charity event to help raise funds for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Keith Myers, Director of The Myers Touch, which works in association with one of the world’s leading kitchen brands, SieMatic, hosted the special event at his stunning kitchen showroom in September. And Keith is delighted that he and their guests managed to raise more than £1,750 for the Hampshire Air Ambulance charity.

The evening was held in conjunction with Roger Walker Travel, Winchester Wine School and Bangkok Brasserie, where the restaurant’s Chef Rangsan demonstrated his culinary expertise by whipping up a mouthwatering selection of Thai canapés. These were accompanied by fine wines specially chosen by Masters of Wine Susie and Peter and enjoyed by everyone, including special guest The Right Honourable Mayor of Winchester, Councillor Barry Lipscomb. The Mayor, who is chairman of the Hampshire Air Ambulance charity, gave an interesting talk to help raise awareness of all Hampshire’s flying paramedics’ hard work.

After the successful event, Keith Myers said: “I’m delighted that we managed to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause and I’d like to thank everyone who joined us, including Susie and Peter from Winchester Wine School, the Mayor and, of course, our generous customers for their heartfelt donations.”
