Peter and Susie from BBC’s ‘Saturday Kitchen Live’ needed a kitchen for their young, growing family, as well as a home for their wine school. It was important to have a striking design that would be in keeping with the recent modernisation of their 1970s home. But easy to clean surfaces were a must to survive the rigours of wine spills and sticky fingers.
A contemporary but homely kitchen with just a hint of retro has been created with SieMatic Basalt Grey S3 furniture combined with bespoke teak joinery. Much attention has been paid to every detail, making it an eye- catching kitchen. It features state of art appliances from Gaggenau, including the amazing RW414260 450mm wine fridge.
With a place for everything, keeping the work surfaces clear of clutter is so much easier to achieve. The combination of materials sits in perfect harmony with the building renovations and provides a wonderful place to work and live. Whether cooking for the family or working with the wine school, this is certainly a room people enjoy lingering in.
