A Prosecco reception with an assortment of appetising Canapés was served as we welcomed 18 special guests for our annual Valentine’s Day supper last week.
The showroom was set with ambient lighting and love was certainly in the air, as Head Chef Alan Haughie from McCrimmon & Reid and the team, served up mouthwatering Dressed Dorset crab, followed by a delectable main of roast fillet of beef with braised beef cheek croquette. For the dessert, a grand finale of passion fruit and yuzu baked Alaska which went down a storm.
The event was enjoyed by all, there was a great mix of new faces as well as previous clients and our dining club members, all coming together to enjoy a romantic Valentine’s evening with a difference.

“We had such a lovely evening. Last Friday was a first for me and my husband Chris, and we can’t speak highly enough about the whole event; from the warm welcome from all the staff, the pleasant and comfortable venue, to the superb food. It is not often we are still talking about a meal for days afterwards! We loved the delicious Canapés, the scrummy fillet beef main and the beautiful (both visually and flavoursome) pud. It was also very nice that the chef came to our table to tell us about our food. Well done everyone - it was a special treat!”
Guests challenged their inner Sommelier skills and brought their own choice of wine along to share on the table, finishing with coffee & chocolates to conclude a superb evening of a shared passion for exquisite food, and really fabulous company.
