The Myers Touch were delighted to open their doors to BBC’s Masterchef 2012 winner, Shelina Permalloo, for an evening of delicious Mauritian street foods and tales of her experience on the show.
Whilst cooking up a selection of recipes from her Southampton restaurant, Shelina gave guests an insight into her time on the popular cooking programme - during which she competed in the many challenges set against 25,000 other applicants before taking the crown. A critical element of the contest included travelling overseas to Thailand to learn about the traditional cuisine and to prepare a meal for the Prince of Thailand.
Throughout the evening guests enjoyed sampling her enticing canapés, and the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Shelinas two inspirational books, The Sunshine Diet and Sunshine on a Plate.
Thank you to Shelina and everyone who attended – we hope you enjoyed the evening!
